The 2009 crop of petite, golden Wente clone clusters was harvested under a full moon on the dawn of October 11th. The 1.51 ton-per-acre yield was the most bountiful to date. After pressing and settling, the juice fermented in a blend of neutral French oak and Stainless Steel barrels. This vibrant Chardonnay expresses lavender-fruit aroma with stone fresh fruit flavors and a viscous texture that lingers on the palate.
